Gift from the Sea

Gift from the Sea 6 x 12 .....Inspired by......Ever since Michelle was a child, she had wished that she would find a glass float. Michelle and her husband Bill had just set up camp near Hana and went to the overlook of the black sand beach. They saw a basketball sized glass float in the waves that were crashing into the lava cliffs. They tried to retrieve the float but the currents took it out to sea. At nightfall, Bill took Michelle to watch the moonrise at the beach. Laying on the sand and glimmering in the moonlight, the float had washed up. The net covered with barnacles and a few crab passengers, it was the most beautiful souvenir anyone could wish for.
